The Daniels Box

This year we are starting a new program called the The Daniels Box!  We are excited to offer The Daniels Box Each month, in the third week of the month, we will deliver a box full of produce that is currently in season at the Daniels farm.  We will deliver them to our designated pick up locations, which are the same as last year pending we have at least 10 box sign ups per location per month.  Below you can see a list of what produce items might potentially be available (weather permitting) in each months box.

We will offer two sizes of boxes.  A small box, designed for a 1-2 person household, and a full box designed for 3-6 person household or for people that just really love their veggies!  The small box will be approximately 1/2 the size of the large box, but not 1/2 the price.  The better deal is definitely in the full box.

Participants can sign up for all 6 boxes in advance or sign up as you go month by month!  Sign ups for all months for 2024 are open!  Each month's sign up will close on the first day of that month.  So for example, the May box sign up will close on May 1st, the June box sign up will close on June 1st and so on and so forth.  We will cap the May and June boxes at 300 boxes so sign up soon for those months!  July through October's boxes will have no cap as supplies are much more plentiful on those months.  We will continue to add many recipes to our monthly boxes and we can't wait to deliver fresh locally grown products to our community! 

Note: The boxes will contain some sort of mix of the following each month. Item availability is dependent on weather so each list is not guaranteed. These items are what is potentially available during these months.

May Box: asparagus, lettuce, kohlrabi, radishes, spinach, salsa, pickles, honey, pea shoots, chives, dill, winter potatoes, mushrooms

June Box: asparagus, lettuce, radishes, bok choy, turnips, green onions, zucchini, sugar snap peas, cabbage, kohlrabi, cucumbers

July Box: tomatoes, sweet corn, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, chili peppers, peaches, cantaloupe, potatoes, green beans

August Box: tomatoes, sweet corn, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, chili peppers, peaches, cantaloupe, potatoes, watermelon, green beans

September Box: carrots, beets, kale, leeks, cilantro, watermelon radish, onions, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, butternut, lettuce, broccoli, pears, peppers, tomatoes, basil, sweet corn

October Box: parsley, dill, basil, cabbage, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, butternut, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, kale, pie pumpkin, popcorn, cucumber, potatoes, apples.
